Meet Tiffany
A space to drop the mask.
You're tired… I know the kind of exhaustion that comes from wearing a mask for so long you've forgotten what it feels like to just exist without performing.
Therapy should be a relationship, not a transaction. I believe the connection between us is the main healer, which means I show up to our sessions as a genuine, authentic human being. Navigating a world that isn't built for you is exhausting. As a neurodivergent practitioner, I know intimately what the "lost" feeling is like. I listen to understand, not to respond, ensuring you feel completely safe to just be yourself.
As a neurodivergent practitioner, I intimately understand the profound relief of finally taking the mask off. I know exactly what it's like to navigate a world that wasn't built for your brain, and how much energy it takes just to survive in it.
That's why my practice isn't a sterile clinic. Therapy with me is a real, human relationship. I will never try to "fix" you with toxic positivity or rush you into solutions before you feel entirely heard and contained. I listen to understand, not just to respond.
Whether we are sitting across from each other in a calm room, or walking side-by-side along the coast feeling the wind, I am here to meet you exactly where you are. We will unravel the things that have happened to you, at a pace that feels completely safe.
I'll sit with your distress, and when you're ready to move, I'll walk with you.
The Pillars of My Practice
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all clinical approach. My practice is grounded in four core factors to ensure you feel genuinely supported.
Adapt
Therapy should mold to your needs, not the other way around. Whether you need to sit in stillness, talk things through, or move outdoors with Walk & Talk therapy, I adapt my approach to what feels safe and accessible for you on any given day.
Empathy
I don't offer blank-slate clinical distance. I offer genuine, warm, and unflinching compassion. My background in crisis support means I am comfortable holding space for your heaviest emotions without judgment or panic.
Desire
True healing honors your innate desire for change, peace, and autonomy. We focus on untangling the life you've been conditioned to live, so you can rediscover and move toward the life you actually want to live.
Understanding
We look beneath the surface. I listen to truly comprehend your inner world and your lived experience, rather than just trying to 'fix' your symptoms. You deserve a space where you are seen and understood entirely.
My path to becoming a counsellor wasn't just academic; it was deeply personal. Having navigated my own years of trauma and experienced the transformative power of therapy firsthand, I know how daunting the healing process can feel. I became a counsellor to offer others the same safe space, guidance, and opportunity for recovery that ultimately changed my life.
Before I became a psychotherapeutic counsellor, I spent years on the frontlines of emotional crisis. I sat in rooms with survivors of domestic abuse and individuals drowning in overwhelming distress. In those moments, when things were at their absolute darkest, I learned something profound:
Healing doesn't happen when a professional sits behind a clipboard nodding at you from a distance. Healing happens in the dirt, in the mess, when someone looks you in the eye and says, "I'm not scared of your pain. I'm not flinching."
Therapy isn't about having someone tell you how to live your life.
It's about having a safe relationship where you can explore who you are, understand what's happened to you and discover new ways of moving forward.
