Therapy Designed Around You
Your story. Your pace. Your therapy. Every person carries a unique history. Therapy here is shaped around yours — not a fixed programme, but a process that moves at your pace and responds to what you actually need.
Who I Help
Often, it's hard to put a name to what you're experiencing. You might not have a specific "diagnosis", but you know you're struggling. I am here for you if:
You are exhausted from masking, people-pleasing, or trying to navigate a neurotypical world that wasn't built for you.
You feel weighed down by past trauma, emotional overwhelm, or relationships that have left you feeling unsafe.
You feel disconnected from your body or your sense of identity, and want a safe space to explore who you truly are.
You are experiencing anxiety, low mood, or burnout, and simply need someone to sit in the heavy feelings with you.
My approaches to therapy
-
You are the expert on your own life. Together we'll create a compassionate, accepting space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgement. Being genuinely heard and understood can help you develop greater self-awareness, self-acceptance and confidence in making the choices that feel right for you.
-
Sometimes our present difficulties have roots in earlier experiences or unconscious patterns. By exploring these together, we can begin to understand how the past may be influencing the present, helping you gain deeper insight, break unhelpful cycles and create lasting change.
-
Where appropriate, we can use practical CBT strategies to help manage anxiety, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and develop healthier ways of coping. These techniques can help you build resilience, develop new perspectives and feel more confident in responding to life's challenges.
-
Safety is at the heart of everything we do. We'll always work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with your wellbeing guiding every step. Together we'll build a sense of trust and stability, ensuring that you remain in control of the process while supporting healing in a way that feels safe and empowering.
-
Our bodies often hold stress, emotions and experiences that words alone can't reach. As a Mind and Body Practitioner, I believe healing happens when we connect physical awareness with emotional processing, helping to regulate the nervous system and making it easier to express what feels difficult to say.
Where appropriate, we'll gently explore physical sensations, breath and nervous system responses to help you feel more grounded, regulated and connected to yourself. This isn't about reliving difficult experiences, but about listening to what your body is communicating in a safe, supportive way.
Moving beyond just talking.
Sometimes, sitting opposite a therapist and talking feels incredibly intimidating. As a Mind and Body Practitioner, I believe healing happens when we connect physical movement with emotional processing. Taking our sessions outdoors for a Walk & Talk can help open the mind, regulate the nervous system, and make it easier to express what feels too difficult to say face-to-face.
